Noyon Roy, Narayangnaj, The Daily Star, Dhaka, 02 June 2021: A massive fire broke out in the area of Allam Iqbal Road in Narayanganj yesterday evening. The fire greatly damaged the houses and shops of this area. It is a residential area and there are many living in this area. The houses are very close to each other. A source says the fire broke out from a short circuit of a house. Suddenly the fire becomes very devasting and spread the whole area. The local people started to put off the fire with water. After 20 minutes a team of firefighters came from the Mondolpara station. The neighbors joined their hands with the firefighters and work tirelessly to put out the fire. The fire was brought under control only by the next morning. As per police investigation, 23 people got themselves killed in the fire. Many others are suffering from fatal burn injuries. They were taken to the Khanpur 300 Beds Hospital. Some of them were kept in ICU. Some local people say there are more than 200 core taka losses in this fire. People are mourning in this area. The government announced a donation for the fire-affected families. It is a notable fire accident in recent times in Narayanganj. The DC of this district urge to create awareness for fire mishap.

A lot of students and guests  were present there. The college/ madrasha campus was decorated colourfully. The Honorable D.C was the chief guest at this program. The function was started with the recitation of the holy Qumran. After the recitation of the holy Qumran. The D.C delivered a nice speech. After that the principal delivered his welcome speech.  A cultural function wash held at the middle of the program. Some  students performed their songs. Dances and jokes.

After that sweet was served among all. Lastly, The D.C concluded the program with his concluding speech.
